Mosquito Control
Our mosquito control program is designed to make your outdoor areas more comfortable by reducing the mosquito population around your property throughout the season.
The program includes 8 treatments from March through November, usually spaced every 3–5 weeks. Mosquitoes reproduce quickly, so staying on a regular schedule helps keep their population from bouncing back between visits. During each service, we focus on the areas where mosquitoes actually rest and hide, not just open grass.
Mosquitoes prefer cool, shaded, moist areas, so we treat places like:
- Shrubs and bushes
- Trees and lower tree canopies
- Fence lines
- Landscape beds and ground cover
- Dense vegetation
- Under decks and patios
- Shaded areas around outdoor living spaces
The service uses two types of products that work together, they provide both immediate reduction and longer-term control. It’s important to know that mosquito control is about reduction, not complete elimination. Things like rain, irrigation, standing water, nearby ponds, creeks, drainage areas, and neighboring properties can all affect mosquito activity. That’s why we also look for standing water sources during service and may point out areas that could be contributing to mosquito breeding.
